It's been very busy at work - so much so I asked for an increase in my hours just so I could keep up with it. They're giving it a 3 month trial. Other to that I've been busy with Christmas shopping and spending a holiday from work trying to get rid of the various bugs I picked up at the hospital. Of course, now I'm back at work I'm picking them up all over again. Writing's suffering as I just don't get much time to do anything - must make more effort.

We don't have quite so much here. Not unless you're willing to
climb a mountain to experience it.

this is an example of perspective
a 35mm lens on my camera would give you a normal perspective, like what your eye would see.
this is shot at 18mm in the portrait position. its also 8 or 9 shots stitched together so it takes in more than the eye would in the same setting.

at 35mm the town and hills would look a lot closer and the amount of sky you could see would be similiar to this pano [link]
